The Wunder Show is an exotic alternative exhibition series created and presented by visual artist Jay Raven. A theatre of the mind, it is filmed with Visionism, on location, at South Detroit Studio, Upper Country, Canada. Depicting weird and bizarre tales of shamanic innovation, esoteric surrealism and psychedelic escapism, each peculiar episode of the Wunder Show is produced with verve, invention and imagination. It is a revolutionary collection of enchanted visual tales, that explore inner subconscious portals, melted dimensions and the cosmic essence of creativity.

The Wunder Show’s second season chronicles the strange effects of the emerging multi-dimensional diversions and freedoms as they begin to permanently penetrate and alter the visual reality of the fractured neighborhoods of South Detroit, culminating in a massive temporal shift in the  public art gallery called the Mechno. An intriguing and stylized greyscale atmosphere gives this season of the Wunder Show a vintage feel and retro perspective.

SEASON 1: THE FANTASAGO FILES

The first season, filmed in black and white, narrates the magical adventures of the inhabitants of a metropolis called South Detroit, who must contend with mysterious fractures in the veneer of their banal reality as a fanciful and dreamy dimension, called Fantasago, tears at the seams of their habitual subconscious apathy, opening their minds to a weird and whimsical imaginary reality.
